The breakdown of fees for children’s classes is as follows:

*Please note that the calculation for a monthly payment plan via direct debit is based on an 11 month plan from August to July (excluding December). If you start your payment plan part way through the academic year at WhizzDance, prices may come up differently depending on remaining fees and how many months are remaining in the plan cycle. The payment plan is not a subscription, but splits the annual fees across several payments. Any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Is there parking?
There is on street parking nearby SYCT Wellfield Rd and Dunraven Secondary School.
What do I wear for the trial?
Please dress your child in comfortable clothing. We recommend a T-Shirt with leggings or shorts. Bare feet are fine for Jazz & Ballet, clean trainers for WhizzStreet and WhizzTheatrics, clean school shoes for tap are fine for the trial. No jewellery (safety ear studs are fine, no dangly or hoop earrings), no zips or denim.
No outdoor footwear is to be worn in any of the dance spaces. Commercial Street and WhizzTheatrics may wear clean trainers in class.
How do payments work?
We run a 10 week term. You will only be charged for the final active weeks of term following the trial.
Our invoicing months are March, July and December.
Term fees must be paid in full and can be paid via:
- Card payment in advance
- BACS in advance
- Monthly direct debit *transaction fees apply
Late payments will incur a £10 late fee administrative charge.
Class Etiquette
All our WhizzDancers learn that they are expected to look, listen and join in at all times. If a child is experiencing an emotional outburst or disregulation- they will be offered a brain break, self led breather/time out. If unruly behaviour occurs and is ever dangerous or becomes persistent in class then we will ask for the student to be collected from class. If the disruption continues over time this will result in the child’s space being revoked.
Do you offer discounts?
- Multiple class discount of 10% on children’s classes
- Siblings discount 5% (discount capped at 10% if taking multiple classes too)
- Adult classes get a reduced rate if they attend Jazz & Tap on a Tuesday evening
- WhizzParents get a special reduced rate on WhizzAdults classes
How do shows work?
We host a full scale production with costume, lighting and sound every other year. Our next major production will be at March 2026.
There is a show fee for participation and tickets are charged per seat. Previously the show fee ranged between £30 to £40 depending on how many show numbers WhizzDancers performed in. Tickets were charged at £11.50 a seat.
All information to be confirmed and communicated when it is show time.
How much is the registration cost?
It is single one off payment of £15.00
How do exams work?
As a dance school, we offer the opportunity to participate in examinations with the very well established and prestigious Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance.
Exam opportunities start usually in Year 3. All students are carefully and always considered. Many factors contribute towards whether and when your child is ready for an exam. We will be in touch when your child is ready for an exam. There is an additional cost involved and this will be explained when your child is offered to participate.
The exam process includes additional coaching sessions and a mock exam before the exam day. We usually host a private session of exams at the end of term in December and March in Streatham. The cost can vary but it is usually around £90-£130 for the total exam cost.
Is there anywhere to wait onsite?
SYCT Wellfield Rd Streatham is a drop off and collection site only.
Dunraven Secondary Streatham is a drop off and collection only apart from during the hours of 11.00-1pm on a Saturday there is a waiting room available whilst youngest classes are held.
