Miss Maria’s initial training was at Bojangles Dance in Lichfield, Staffordshire. She trained there until the age of 19 leaving with her Advanced 2 ISTD in Imperial Ballet, Modern Theatre and Tap, Advanced 1 RAD and her ISTD Imperial Ballet and Modern Theatre (teaching) Associate qualifications. In 2018 she completed updating her teaching status to the new Diploma in Dance Education with the ISTD. Her further training includes: London Studio Centre where she completed a First Class BA (Hons) in Theatre Dance specialising in Contemporary and at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland leaving with an MA in Musical Theatre Performance under the Cameron Mackintosh Scholarship.
As a performer her credits include: Minerva and Ensemble, Out Of This World, (All Star Productions); Mausi, Lulu and Helga, Cabaret das Musical (Deutches Theater Munich, Staatsoper Hannover, Bar Jeder Vernuft & Tipi Berlin); Ensemble/Understudy Jane, Salad Days (Riverside Studios); Jenny, Company (Edinburgh Fringe); Botox Active Virgin (Edinburgh Fringe); Dancer, Le Grande Cirque (UK Tour); Dance Captain, Aladdin (Lichfield Garrick); Nurse, Die Unmoglichen; Dancer, Scuffle (Film); Singer, Stage Fright (Shepperton Studios); at various corporate events and shows with E-Motion Dance Company and until the arrival of her son, Maria performed regularly with all singing, all dancing and all tapping My Favourite Things.
Maria has taught at countless schools in London, the Midlands and Glasgow. Before moving out of London, she regularly covered Matt Mattox Jazz Technique at Vocational Dance College, London Studio Centre and was on the annual dance panel for the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s London BA Honours and MA Honours Musical Theatre Performance Course auditions.
It is with her vision and ethos that has led WhizzDance to its success as a dance school, not only in quality of delivery but also in business winning Small Business of the Year at the InStreatham BID awards 2022. She now predominantly teaches at WhizzDance HQ Streatham with her focus on running WhizzDance alongside being Mum to her two boys. Miss Maria is an incredibly passionate WhizzPrincipal and dedicated to all at WhizzDance.
Miss Maria is a dance technician at heart, sharing her knowledge with her classes in an engaging and light hearted delivery style, maintaining classical and professional etiquette, keeping learning progressive and challenging. Miss Maria has inspired many WhizzDancers of all ages over the years by her love of dance.
Miss Beth began dancing at the age of 4 at Corraine Collins Dance Studios in Cheltenham. Whilst training there she competed in many festivals and competitions up and down the country, including the ISTD Ballet Awards and The Janet Cram Award in Modern Dance. At the age of 16 Beth flew the nest and moved to London to undertake her vocational training at Bird College of Dance and Musical Theatre, on a full scholarship.
After graduating she became an apprentice dancer for the New English Contemporary Ballet Company based in Nottingham. Beth has danced all over the world on various cruise ships and has been dance captain for a number of seasons. Beth has completed her Diploma in Dance Instruction in both Imperial Ballet and Tap with the ISTD.
Miss Beth has been with WhizzDance from early days and now has her own branch of WhizzDance over in Bromley where she acts as WhizzPrincipal. Beth also is greatly involved in our after school club offering at WhizzDance looking after our WhizzClubs in Cheltenham. She also runs her own preschool programme, BDance in Bromley that feeds into our WhizzBromley branch. Miss Beth is well loved by our WhizzDancers old and new.
Miss Amma began dancing at the age of 3 and never looked back. In 2020 she graduated with a BA Honours degree from The London Studio Centre where she acquired a Leverhulme Arts Scholarship. Since graduating, Amma has appeared in several music videos and television shows – but alongside her experience in performing, she has a great passion for teaching the next generation of stars and in a welcoming environment!
Miss Amma has a fantastic rapport with her students who always enjoy learning from her at HQ and within our WhizzClubs. One school she works in remarked that she is an ideal role model for their students.

Mr Luke trained at Doreen Bird College graduating with a BA(Hons) in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre.
Luke has performed in various shows since graduating. Around the World in 80 days as Dance Captain (Union Theatre), Jack and The Beanstalk, Dick Whittington, Cinderella, Aladdin, Sleeping Beauty, (Norwich Theatre Royal), Where he has undertaken the role of Dance Captain and Swing. West End Brunch (Studio 88).
Luke has been teaching Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Musical Theatre and Street dance for the last 8 years. Luke works in many schools delivering dance and drama workshops and supporting students with additional needs. Luke has qualifications in Understanding Children and Young Peoples Mental Health and Understanding Behaviours that Challenge.
Luke has been with WhizzDance now for several years. He is a passionate performer and a vibrant, engaging teacher. Luke is always very popular with all his groups at WhizzDance.
Lucy is currently in her 3rd year at the Royal Academy of Dance studying on the BA (Hons) Ballet Education degree course. Lucy has been dancing since the age of 4 training in ballet, tap, modern and musical theatre at her local dance school in Dorset and even appeared in a few Pantos. Before joining WhizzDance, Lucy has experience teaching for her dance school back at home and covering at schools in London.
She has a huge passion for sharing her love of dancing with others and as a recent addition to our WhizzTeam is very excited to be teaching at WhizzDance.
Miss Erika obtained a Certificate in Performing Arts at Liceo Artistico Coreutico Musicale in Italy, followed by a Bachelor’s Degree at La Accademia Nazionale Di Danza in Rome (Italy) specializing in Contemporary Dance (Cunningham, Limon, Release, Modern dance). Erika also has completed her Level 3 as a Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer. During her dance career, Erika won several competitions of classical/ballet and contemporary dance both in Italy and in the UK and working with various dance companies including “Sanctiondance”.
Erika has taught various styles of dance for several years across London, from beginner to advanced professionals and from toddlers to adults. Miss Erika loves to share her knowledge and experience to her students in a safe, fun and creative environment. She believes that the language of dance can be spoken through storytelling, imagination especially for young dancers. Erika teaches several WhizzClubs at WhizzDance and all her schools and students enjoy working with her.

Since graduating from the professional Diploma course at Laine Theatre Arts, Leah has worked as a commercial dancer and vocalist across tv, stage and screen. Leah’s screen credits include Disney’s Disenchanted, Netflix’s brand new dance show Dance 100, Strictly Come dancing, The Voice of Ireland, Loose women, Xfactor Iran, ITV This morning, Alan Carr, Al Murray Christmas Special. Leah has also worked with artists including Mc Fly, Jess Glynn, Martin Garrix, Sara Alto, Sinitta and Rebecca Ferguson.
Leah has appeared in various adverts including for Marks and Spencer’s, Liverpool One, National Lottery, Vodafone and Sharp. She has also performed as a dancer and vocalist in many theatre shows including, Whiskey in the Jar the musical as dance captain, High School Musical, Fred Olsen Cruise Lines, Beauty and the Beast, Buddha Bar Marrakech and Snow White. Leah teaches regularly all over London and loves passing on her knowledge and enjoyment of dance to the next generation. With such an extensive performing experience, Leah’s students love learning her industry inspired choreography.

Miss Leonie started her journey as a gymnast before finding dance at the age of 13. She then went on to study her A-levels at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dance before gaining a BA (Hons) Theatre Dance at London Studio Centre graduating in 2021. During her time at London Studio Centre, Leonie was invited to the performance team representing the college at various dance festivals and performances, including the new Wimbledon Theatre in 2019. In 2021 she was a member of contemporary dance company Intoto touring the UK. Leonie recently performed at The Barking Theatre in A Night Beyond Limits.
Upon graduating, Leonie has been teaching at many London dance schools. She shares her passion for dance to the younger generation of dancers as well as teaching fun adult dance classes. Leonie is now working towards her Diploma in Dance Education with the ISTD. Miss Leonie, like the rest of the WhizzTeam, Leonie is very popular at WhizzDance always greeting everyone with a smile and sharing her love and passion for dance.

Miss Georgiana is a recent graduate at the Royal Academy of Dance where she achieved a BA(Hons) in Ballet Education and also Advanced 1 RAD. Alongside her RAD training she also studied BBO up to Advanced 1. Georgiana has performed as a dancer, singer and performer with the acclaimed Ballet Black Associates, Dance Warehouse, Proud, Garsington Opera, Fairfield Halls, Sadlers Wells and British Academy of International Arts in Kuwait. In 2020, Georgiana trained at the Royal Ballet on their Summer Programme. Georgiana is also a gymnast, also coaching gymnastics alongside her commitments as a dance teacher.
Miss Georgiana has covered for us over the past year or so and we very much look forward to welcoming her to our HQ and WhizzClub team officially at WhizzDance. Miss Georgiana has infectious energy yet always remaining calm and considered. We know she’s going to fit right in!
Joe started his training at the BRIT School before graduating from Laine Theatre Arts with a Diploma in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre. Joe has been teaching Musical Theatre, Jazz, Ballet, Street & Tap since graduating in 2017. Within Dance schools, colleges & extensively through varying school years from tiny tots to fully fledged adults.

Rachel graduated from the Royal Academy of Dance with a BA (Hons) Ballet Education. She also achieved the Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Dance with distinction and also gained her Advanced 2 RAD. Before beginning her teacher training, Rachel was a member of the Irish National Youth Ballet company while also completing her major ballet exams. Rachel is currently working as a freelance ballet teacher in various schools across London, including the RAD Dance School. Miss Rachel has been working with WhizzDance for a number of years and has loved seeing her WhizzDancers grow. She loves getting to meet and welcome new students each term.
Miss Rachel currently teaches at HQ although has also delivered for our WhizzClubs. She is an integral part of our Ballet faculty being heavily involved with our exam opportunities. Miss Rachel’s WhizzDancers of all ages adore her!
Miss Sammy is a qualified Dance Teacher with the Association of American Dancing in Ballet, Tap and Modern Jazz, as well as an Acro Dance instructor with the Acrobatic Arts company. Miss Sammy is in the final stages of gaining her DDE status with the ISTD in Tap and Modern Theatre. Her recent practical Modern Theatre teaching unit scored a huge 90%! Sammy recently took her Intermediate ISTD Tap gaining Distinction and has since been granted an Accreditation of Prior Learning up to Advanced 1 based on her previous experience and qualifications. Sammy is also qualified as a DDMix Instructors (a fun dance and fitness fusion for adults and children created by Darcey Bussell).
Having started dancing at the age of 2, Sammy went on to train at the Jackie Cox Theatre Arts School in ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, street and voice. During her time at the school she performed in theatres around the UK, in the West End and at Disneyland Paris. She also competed into her early twenties, finishing on a high as the national champion in Senior Ballet and Tap.
When she is not at WhizzDance HQ, Miss Sammy teaches at other dance schools across London. Sammy also runs her own dance school, SJ Dance that produces shows and performance opportunities for a community of adult dancers. Miss Sammy has been with WhizzDance since almost the start of our journey. She has a flair for imaginative, creative choreography which is just one of the reasons why she is so well loved by her HQ WhizzDancers.
Miss Keziah began dancing at Mareli School of Dance as a child completing exams with IDTA in Ballet, Modern, Tap, Musical Theatre and Theatre Craft. After this, Keziah moved to London graduating with a 2:1 in Dance Studies from the University of Roehampton. Keziah performed as part of the apprenticeship scheme with Springs Dance Company, touring the country performing and teaching. Whilst freelance dance teaching Keziah completed her DDE in Tap and Modern dance with ISTD. Since, Keziah has completed her PGCE and QTS with the Royal Academy of Dance. Keziah is now a secondary school Dance teacher and thoroughly enjoys being able to combine her love for dance with teaching. She still tries to come back to WhizzDance as often as she can and most recently for our camp days.
Miss Keziah is a ball of positivity and this is reflected in the joy her WhizzDancers take from working with her.
Molly started her performing journey at the age of 3 at The Betty Wivell Academy of Performing Arts, completing almost every single grade in ballet, tap, modern, jazz and her LAMDA drama exams.
At the age of 16, Molly continued her journey at The BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology where she further trained and received a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dance. During her time at The BRIT School, Molly was a part of the Urban and Contemporary fusion company ‘Khronos Girls’, who got to the Semi Finals of Britain’s Got Talent in 2019. Additionally, Molly performed alongside artist ‘P!nk’ in The BRIT Awards 2019.
Most recently, Molly has completed her training at Performers College, graduating with a First in her degree in Musical Theatre & Dance BA(Hons). As well as pursuing a career in Musical Theatre, Molly also shows great interest in TV and Commercial work and has recently starred in a few short films and ads.
Alongside Molly’s performing training, she has now completed her ISTD DDE qualifications in Ballet, Tap and Modern and can’t wait to begin her exciting teaching journey with WhizzDance.
Trained at Laine Theatre Arts and graduated in 2014. For the last 9 years Miss Emily has travelled the world as a Dance Captain performing on cruise ships with Royal Caribbean and Princess Cruise Lines. Emily has her ISTD teaching qualifications and recently completed a BA Hons in Musical Theatre at Middlesex University.
Her theatre credits include: ‘Hunyak’ in Chicago, (RCCL), Stephen Schwartz ‘Magic To Do’ and ‘Born to Dance’ (PCL), ‘Broadway to the Bay’ with choreographer Andrew Wright. ‘CBBC Ten Pieces Prom’ at the Albert Hall. UK Olympics Wimbledon Tennis opening (AMCK) and ‘Beauty and the Beast’ (Jordan Productions)
Miss Emily is now staying on land for the foreseeable currently updating her DDI to DDE with the ISTD and teaching for several schools in South London. Miss Emily is a new addition to our HQ team. She super friendly bringing a wonderful energy energy to class. We know she is going to be a hit with our WhizzDancers!
Miss Lucy started dancing at the age of 3 with her early training at Buckhurst Hill and Woodfood School of Dance training achieving ISTD Cecchetti Intermediate, Gold Award Classical Greek, Gold Award in Jazz and Freestyle also training in Contemporary and Tap. Lucy was also an Associate of the Chelmsford Ballet Company before moving to London.
She competed in Regional and National competitions placing 3rd overall in Classical Greek. Lucy has also performed with her dance school growing up shows and pantomimes over the years and most notably at Her Majesty’s Theatre.
Lucy is currently in her third and final year at the Royal Academy of Dance training towards a BA Hons in Ballet Education and gaining her LRAD teaching status.
Alongside teaching, Lucy also currently works at Freed of London, learning the art of fitting all styles of dance shoes from Pointe to Latin and Ballroom serving Royal Ballet School students to West End Productions.
She is really passionate about creating a positive inspiring environment for the students to learn and express their creativity.
Georgia has been dancing since the age of 3 and attended The Academy Performing Arts in South East London. After developing a strong passion she later went on to complete a Level 3 Diploma in Dance at Miskin Theatre and Graduated Millennium Performing Arts in 2019 with a BA Hons.
Since graduating she has taught at a number of disciplines at schools across London specialising in Tap, Ballet and Lyrical Jazz and has gone on to perform at various Events and Shows across the UK.
Miss Georgia loves sharing her positive and infectious energy with her classes.
Lily grew up in Camden and began her training at the age of 5 with ballet and gymnastics. Her training progressed on to competitive dance, leading her to compete in lyrical, contemporary and commercial hip hop in competitions all over the UK.
At 15 Lily was given exciting professional opportunities to perform on the main stage at Disneyland Paris as well as the annual televised New Year’s day parades in Paris and Rome.
These experiences affirmed her desire to study dance at University and so she completed her studies in Contemporary Dance at Bath Spa in 2022 and stayed an additional year to complete my PGCE in primary education. In her final year Lily was Bath Spa’s Cheer Club’s President.
Lily coaches jazz, lyrical, dance technique and cheerleading teams whilst also being a competitive performer. Lily is extremely passionate and very excited to be part of the WhizzDance team.
